Gazprom Neft's oil business operator, Gazpromneft Lubricants, has launched a new line of G-Energy and G-Profi premium-class motor oils with improved environmental characteristics. The Low SAPS* (Low Sulphated Ash, Phosphorus and Sulphur) technology used to produce the oils protects the engine parts and reduces exhaust gas toxicity.

The efficient mix of additives used in Low SAPS oils produced by Gazpromneft Lubricants has a totally different chemical composition than the traditional additives which include sulphur and phosphorus compounds to protect the engine parts. Because Low SAPS oils have a very low content of these substances, they ensure that oil is fed to all the engine units even at the cold start stage and protect the engine from wear and tear and formation of deposits.

The G-Energy Service Line R 5W ?30, G-Profi GT LA 10W-40 and G-Profi MSJ 5W-30 oils for petrol, diesel and gas fueled engines meet environmental grades from Euro-4 to Euro-6 and the requirements of the leading international producers.

The synthetic G-Energy Service Line R 5W-30 oil is intended for petrol and diesel engines ensuring their operation under any conditions. The universal synthetic oil G-Profi GT LA 10W-40 is specially designed for commercial diesel and compressed natural gas engines with exhaust control systems. The G-Profi MSJ 5W-30 is intended for buses, long-distance rigs, off-road, construction and agricultural vehicles fitted with exhaust emission control systems. It is recommended for engines running on diesel, compressed natural gas and LPG.

?In accordance with cutting-edge world trends Gazpromneft Lubricants has started production of motor oils with improved environmental characteristics using the latest European technologies. This will enable us to provide high-quality goods to our customers and strengthen Russia's technological lead among lubricant producers," said Alexander Trukhan, CEO, Gazpromneft Lubricants.
