Sichuan Province-based Pangang Xichang Steel & Vanadium Co., a subsidiary of Sichuan-based Chinese steel producer Panzhihua Iron and Steel Group (Pangang Group), has put its cold rolled project into operation, as reported by Sichuan Daily on May 11.

Construction work started on the project in March 2013, taking a period of one year and one month to complete. The project will reach an annual output of 1.7 million mt of bright cold rolled coil, 0.4 million mt of full hard cold rolled coil, and 0.7 million mt of hot rolled pickled coil when operating at full capacity, with annual sales revenues of over RMB 10 billion ($1.63 billion).
