Can this be connected to a cordless handset?
Answer:
If you can make the physical connectors match, it should work: 3.5 mm 3-conductor. I am successfully running a similar PC 3-conductor microphone from the headset jack on a Panasonic cordless handset for a landline.

Question:
Normally a condenser mic needs phantom power. Does this? If so, how does it get it?
Answer:
I'm really not sure, but it works fine being plugged into my laptop. I don't notice any significant drain on my battery while it's plugged in.
